URGENT AND EMEGENCY CARE​ ​

Common urgent care visits consist of:
  • Vomiting or diarrhea (mild to moderate still alert and drinking)​
  • Ear infections/ear scratching or discharge
  • Eye irritation, redness or mild squinting
  • Skin issues (itching, hotspots, rashes, and hives)
  • Minor wounds, cuts or bites
  • Limping or minor injuries
  • Coughing or sneezing, without major breathing issue
  • Changes in appetite or drinking
  • Urinary issues
  • Allergic reactions, without difficulty of breathing
  • Nail injuries or broken nails
What we do in urgent care:
  • On-site diagnostics (bloodwork, x-ray, urinalysis)
  • Wound cleaning and suturing
  • Pain management
  • Ear & Eye exams
  • Treatment for vomiting/diarrhea
  • Minor procedures
  • Same-day medical assessments
Signs your pet needs emergency care:
  • Difficulty breathing or choking
  • Seizures or collapse
  • Major trauma (car accidents, big dog fights, falls)
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Ingestion of toxins
  • Heatstroke
  • Bloated abdomen or suspected GDV
  • Severe vomiting/diarrhea with lethargy or blood
  • Inability to urinate (Especially male cats)
  • Severe allergic reactions (facial swelling, trouble breathing)
  • Pale or blue gums
  • Sudden paralysis (especially hind-limb paralysis in cats)
  • Eye injuries involving the cornea or sudden blindness
  • Pregnancy complications or active dystocia
  • Persistent crying/ signs of extreme pain

  • Stabilization (oxygen therapy, IV fluids, temperature control)
