Your Pet's Greatest Allies

Picture
Welcome to our veterinary clinic, where passion meets expertise in caring for your beloved pets.

Dr. Katherine Steadley
With over 12 years of dedicated service to our community, Dr. Steadley embodies a profound commitment to the well-being of animals. Her journey began at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she honed her skills and nurtured her love for animal care. Following her academic pursuits, she embarked on a small animal rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Sandy Springs, GA, further enriching her knowledge and experience.
Dr. Steadley's compassionate approach to veterinary medicine is evident in every interaction she has with both pets and their owners. Her comprehensive understanding of small animal health issues, coupled with her unwavering dedication, ensures that your furry companions receive the highest standard of care.
Beyond her professional accolades, Dr. Steadley is deeply involved in the local community, participating in various outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
At our clinic, you can trust Dr. Steadley and our team to provide personalized, compassionate care for your furry family members, with a side of humor. Your pets' health and happiness are our top priorities, and with Dr. Steadley at the helm, you can rest assured that they are in capable and caring hands.

Dr. Teyah Oshetski
Dr. Teyah Oshetski grew up in a small city in Pennsylvania where everyone wanted to be the same, look the same and were afraid to be different. Although she attended a small undergraduate college, much like everyone else; she did not pursue a nursing program, but a pre-veterinary program. Unexpectedly, Dr. O was set to graduate a year early and was unable to apply traditionally to state side veterinary schools. Fortunately, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine untraditionally accepts applications all year round, which allowed Teyah to continue her path of becoming a veterinarian
expeditiously.
Much like her path to becoming a veterinarian, you will see Dr. Oshetski scurrying around the clinic ensuring your pet receives the absolute highest standard of care, from the time they set their paws in the clinic, to the time their paws walk out the doors. And you can be sure that each and every pet she examines will forever have their paws imprinted in her heart. Dr. O's passion for patient care is eminent, from the administration of a routine vaccination to a more complex surgical procedure.
She currently resides just outside of Ft. Stewart, with her husband, who is enlisted in the US Army; daughter and son; and of course, she has fluffy, feathered, hooved and scaly family members, too. Dr. Oshetski is elated to venture into practice ownership with Dr. Steadley who shares similar passions in providing the pets of Savannah, the absolute highest standard of care.

Anita - Veterinary Nurse
Meet Anita, one of our amazing Veterinary Nurses here at Midtown Mutts Veterinary Care! Anita joined the veterinary field in 2018 and has a passion for emergency, critical care, dermatology, and helping pet parents feel confident through great client education.
She’s originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and when she’s not caring for our patients, she’s spending time with her own furry crew—two dogs and two cats. Anita loves traveling, beach days, and road trips, and at home she enjoys life with her husband and their four wonderful kids.
Anita brings warmth, knowledge, and a true love of animals to our team, and we’re so grateful to have her!

Brooke  - Veterinary Nurse
Brooke had pets her whole life, and they’ve shaped her passion for working in veterinary care. Her background includes two years in canine rehab in Illinois where she gained hands-on experience supporting dogs through recovery, mobility therapy, and strengthening programs. For the past three years, she has been a veterinary nurse in Georgia, assisting with patient care, client communication, and daily clinic operations. She loves supporting animals through every stage of their visit—whether that’s helping them feel comfortable, assisting with treatments, or celebrating their progress. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for her; it’s truly her heart. Her goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and supported during their visit.
Emily - Veterinary Receptionist
Emily lives in Savannah with her husband Brent and three sons: Sullivan (9), Finn (8) and Crosby (4). She also has a chocolate Labrador Retriever named Hazel who just turned 14. Emily comes to us after a career in education and looks forward to using her people skills to help Midtown Mutts be a happy place to bring your pets. When Emily isn't in the clinic, you can find her working in her garden or out in her boat. She has a monster seashell collection and enjoys walking any beach with her family.
